Choosing a home in Abuja or Port Harcourt changes your character's address, space and recurring housing budget. It is a separate decision from travelling there for a visit. This guide lists the city homes in Lagos Life and explains what to check before paying a moving deposit.
Abuja homes by neighbourhood
| Area | Home | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Kubwa | Single room | A modest starting option; check the room layout and recurring rent. |
| Gwarinpa | Mini flat | Space for a different household routine and furniture arrangement. |
| Wuse 2 | Serviced apartment | Whether the extra space fits your budget and daily plan. |
| Maitama | Detached house | The deposit and ongoing cost alongside your income. |
| Asokoro | Mansion | A larger home to consider after your routine is sustainable. |
Use the Abuja guide to connect your housing choice with places you want to visit. A neighbourhood name alone does not tell you whether an address is affordable for your character.
Port Harcourt homes by neighbourhood
| Area | Home | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Rumuokoro | Single room | A modest housing choice while building your daily budget. |
| D-Line | Mini flat | Room size and furniture needs before stepping up. |
| Old GRA | Colonial duplex | A larger layout, the moving deposit and weekly rent. |
| Woji | Serviced apartment | Space and affordability relative to your other expenses. |
All homes and amounts are part of the fictional simulation. Read the current housing screen for prices; these are not property listings or real-world rental estimates. The PH Life guide introduces the city's markets, food stops and leisure venues.
How to move to a different city
- Visit the destination city using intercity travel.
- Open the housing choices for the city you are in.
- Compare the selected home's rent and layout with your current home.
- Keep enough money for the deposit and your next expenses.
- Confirm the move, then review your furniture arrangement.
You must be in the new home's city before moving there. Simply viewing Abuja or PH on the map is not enough. The move costs one week's rent as an upfront deposit, and your furniture comes with you. When moving to a smaller layout, review where those objects now sit.
Visiting or relocating?
If your main goal is to explore a few venues, visit first and keep a return fare. Your original home stays where it was. If you want the new city to become your everyday base, compare homes after arriving and make a deliberate move.
A short visit can help you decide which activities you want in your routine. Think about the local journeys you will make repeatedly rather than choosing only by prestige. A manageable home gives you more room in the budget for food, skill development and leisure.
Keep rent separate from spending money
Rent is due every in-game Saturday. Reserve it before spending on a bigger outing or a new furnishing. Paying the moving deposit does not remove the need to budget for future rent.
Before upgrading, compare your actual earnings with housing, food and transport costs. Leave a buffer for recovery activities and another journey. Read the careers guide for work and progression, and the needs guide for a daily routine that supports them.
